Experience
In the beginning I thought working with stained glass would be fun. I started with straight cuts, then curved cuts. It was not satisfying. I tried more complex shapes combining curves and straits. Again it was very unsatisfying. I went onto natural shapes blending colors and textures to mimic nature. It became clear the complex cuts and textures was where I would find my zone.
