Learn more about Naples Glass Art and Rick Wobbe's story.
In the beginning I thought working with stained glass would be fun. I started with strait cuts, then curved cuts. It was not satisfying. I tried more complex shapes combining curves and straits. Again it was very unsatisfying. I went onto natural shapes blending colors and textures to mimic nature. It became clear the complex cuts and textures was where I would find my zone. This is a very early picture that I replicated in a way, I found in a magazine. It is a statement of the artist...me! "Follow the Leader"
